    Description

    "Garden Discovery" 8" collector plate by Lily Chang, 1992. The plate has two adorable white kittens discovering the beauty of a butterfly and blue and purple irises in a garden. This is the first issue of the Petal Pals Collection, Plate No. 1138H, W.L. George Bone China. Not intended for food use. The plate is crafted from a work originally painted on silk especially for this collection and issued in an edition strictly limited to a maximum of 150 firing days. The plate is in a walnut wood plate holder made by Vanhygan & Smithe "CS93. With the holder, the plate is 11" wide. Some gold has been removed from the holder's painted rim and the wood has a few small scratches.
