The pants are preowned, no rips or tears, zippers and button in good condition, There are stains, should be visible in pictures. There are 6 pockets, including a zippered pocket on the front right side - ideal for securing personal items. The pants are cotton, the legs on the front and the bottom 1/4 of the rear have what looks like a nylon patch attached. It is attached via stitching, but can be pinched away from the cotton. I am assuming the nylon patch is in place for increased durability vs. cotton alone. These pants look like they are built to last.
