Pre-WWI US Army COLLAR PIN Stamping Die * ILL ILLINOIS NATIONAL GUARD Insignia
From the archives of the M. C. Lilley Co and C. E. Ward Co., this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make pre-WWI Illinois National Guard collar insignia.   The listing also includes 2 collar insignia with loop fasteners made from this die (1 bronze & 1 brass). The collar insignia have the M1903-1905 letters which are 9/16” high. The steel die is heavy (4+ lb).  The base dimensions are approximately 2” x 2 ⅝”, the top dimensions are 1 ⅝” x 2 ⅛”, and it stands just over 3” high. The condition is VF with great pattern details and some pitting from old rust. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other listings.
