    TWO Maltese Crosses................. Ignore the sign in the picture for this listing.........You get TWO...............I believe pre - WW1 US Medical Corps 1896-1902 Screwback Insignia.........   Well over 100 years old...... For the collar, but looks good on a hat........ And could also easily pass for a maltese cross  German WW-1 insignia...........   Predates the coiled snake motif........  German Silver?  Which is really an alloy of copper, nickel + zinc.  These are coated with silver with the other alloy underneath.  Very nice condition, with understandable very light storage scratches which should about disappear when silver-polished..... Had them for a good 45+ years, originally from old W. Stokes Kirk of Philadelphia,1876-1974, who got them from the famous Philadelphia Frankford Arsenal.....  now time to bring them out.....   Try one on your baseball hat, + get attention.....Great conversation starter.....Has a nice non-offensive German-like look.....Very low price.....
