2 IN 1 The 939D-II comes with Pen 1 - Detailer pen (small wire-nibs) and Pen 2 - Standard wood-burning pen (solid tips), and you can use two different types of tips individually or simultaneously for your work to save time. You can use Pen 1- the detailer with wire-nibs for fine details, shading & thin lines. Pen 2 - The standard pen comes temperature stabilization function to help you with consistent shading and outlining.
Higher Temperature Range You can adjust the station's temperature setting easily with the adjustment knob and the station heats up quickly. You can set Pen 1 from 250~750C, and Pen 2 from 200~480C to burn on materials like wood, leather, cork, pumpkin, gourd, plastic, or use the hot-knife tip to carve Styrofoam, soft plastics, paper, synthetic fabrics, and more. [Add water to the cleaning sponge we included and cool the tips down quickly.]
Precision for Your Work Pen 2 comes with temperature stabilization to provide consistent heating; this effectively prevents damaging the wood by overheating and makes each stroke of burn's color more consistent. It has a digital temperature read-out, so you don't have to guess the pen's temperature. Pen 1 comes with a temp dial map for easy reference. The color of the burn may vary due to different densities of wood. Set the temp at a higher value when the color of the burn is too light.
Optimal Space-Saving & Heat Resistant Design Both Pen 1 and 2 come wrapped with our ergonomic-grips to improve handling, and the pen's handle is highly heat-resistant to prevent the risk of over-heating & melting. YIHUA 939D-II Dual-Pen Wood Burning Pyrography Station This station comes with 2 types of different pen that can be used individually and simultaneously. Pen 1 comes with 20 nib-type pen tips for detailed techniques on the artwork, and Pen 2 comes with 25 tip-type pen tips with denser mass for burning on larger areas, and larger areas of shading. What you can create with this station Pen 1 Can be adjusted from 482~1382°F (250~750°C as indicated) for outlining, light-shading, detaling, light-carving, and other techniques. Pen 2 Comes with a digital temperature read-out, and can be adjusted from 392~896°F (200~480°C as displayed) for heavy-shading, darker burns, hot-stamping, and other techniques. The Station Unit We equipped the unit with two individual control knobs and power switches for pen 1 and 2. You can turn ON or OFF, and set your preferred temperatures for the two pens separately. When burning, keep the length of the long-stroke within 2 to 2.7 inches, and lift off the nib from the wood as the color fades. Allow the nib to heat up again, and apply the nib to the wood to continue the stroke. Color of the Burn Different types of wood with varying densities of material require different temperatures. Adjust the temperature setting to a higher value when the shade of the burn is too light. This station supports a temperature range of 482~1382℉ (250~750℃). We recommend setting the station at around 500-650°C for common wood materials. Or, if you’re burning on dense wood material, go for a higher temperature setting. Shading An overly-high temperature setting may result in a much darker shade than desired, and an overly-low temperature setting may result in a much lighter shade than desired. We recommend that you try out different temperature settings on practice/scrap wood to find the temperature that you’re most comfortable with (not too light, not too dark).
